Nexus records what you tell it. It does not give medical guidance, and it will never fill in a feeding, sleep or vaccination schedule on your baby’s behalf.
Only what you want
Use it as just a baby tracker.
Nexus asks which parts you want when you sign up, and you can change your mind whenever you like. Turn everything else off and this is the whole app — the menu, the home screen, the quick-add button. Nothing you did not ask for is on screen.
Turn something back on a year later and it is waiting, with whatever you had already put in it. Hiding is not deleting. A lot of new parents want exactly one thing and no more, and that is the right way to use it.

The baby is in the family calendar so the six-week check-up sits with everything else.
Nappies, formula and the pram are in the budget because the household shop and the baby’s costs are the same money.
The other parent already has an account so handover isn’t an invitation to a new app.
