Tasks

One list, including the things you never think of as tasks.

The chores, the pet’s worming tablet, the RSVP you owe someone — in the same place as work, and blockable straight onto the calendar.

Everything Tasks gives you.

One list for everything with a due date, wherever it came from.

Recurring jobs repeat from when you did them, not from when the calendar said.

Today in one view, everything else in another.

Today, tomorrow, this weekend — one tap instead of a date picker.

Drag a task onto the calendar and it becomes a block of time.

Things you'd normally pay for. Here they're just included.

Tasks features, what the category typically charges for them, and what they cost in Nexus.

Use it as just a to-do list.

Nexus asks which parts you want when you sign up, and you can change your mind whenever you like. Turn everything else off and this is the whole app — the menu, the home screen, the quick-add button. Nothing you did not ask for is on screen.

Turn something back on a year later and it is waiting, with whatever you had already put in it. Hiding is not deleting. Tasks is always available, so this is the lightest possible way to use Nexus.

What Tasks can do that a single-purpose app can’t.

The chore rotation feeds this list. In a standalone task app somebody types “put the bins out” every week for ever.

The pet’s worming tablet is a task because the pet module made it one.

An event generates its own tasks carrying the event’s date.

Time-blocking writes to the same calendar the whole household reads.

Nexus is free. Not free-for-now, and not free-until-you-need-the-good-bit — nothing you already have is ever moved behind a payment. You can export everything you put in, from every module, whenever you like.

It is free for the businesses in the directory too. Nobody pays for a listing, and nobody buys your data.

Read the promise

A task app you fill in by hand is a second job. This one is fed by whatever else you have switched on.
